Basic Information

All links, categories and subcategories have to be approved manually. This will usually happen within a day.

Your listing must be for a locally owned business, or a "green" business. The description must be 250 characters or less in length.

Your listing can be in more than one sub category.

What if I don't have a website (url)?

The script requires a link, you can always use http://shoplocal.alterra-wv.com/ if you do not have a web address.

How can I add my information to a main category?

Right now you cannot. The program has been designed to hold links at the sub category level and not with categories.

Can you add my link for me?

No problem, Email us with your 250 character (or less) description of your business or service, and tell us in what subcategories you want your listing to appear.

What is a "green" business?

Currently this is self defined. We are discussing whether to create a designation of "Green Business" that would allow consumers to spend money with businesses that operate in an environmentally friendly manner. Feel free to submit your comments on this idea.
